Okojo Adventures, a subsidiary of Roshi Digital Pte. Ltd. (60 Paya Lebar Road, #07-54 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore), operates as an affiliate partner with licensed local guides in Japan. All tours, services, and transactions are subject to these terms and conditions.
Full, upfront payment is required to secure your reservation. Upon payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a receipt. Payments can be made via our secure website using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
Cancellations must be made in writing. Upon receiving notification, the following cancellation fees apply:
Note: Refunds apply only to guide fees. Okojo Adventures is not liable for refunds on accommodation or third-party rentals made for the tour.
Okojo Adventures reserves the right to cancel a tour due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient participants. In such cases, a full refund will be issued for guide fees and equipment rentals booked directly through Okojo Adventures. Additional costs (e.g., airfare, equipment purchases, hotel reservations) are not covered.
For force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, volcanic activity), a full refund of guide fees will be issued, minus any incurred processing fees.
Tours operate on strict schedules. If participants are unreachable one hour after the designated departure time, the reservation will be forfeited without a refund. Please ensure punctuality.
In the event of unfavorable weather, alternative activities or routes may be offered. Itinerary changes are rare but may affect the tour location or return times.

Participants are strongly advised to obtain full medical and emergency evacuation insurance. Okojo Adventures does not provide insurance and will not be held liable for medical or evacuation expenses incurred during the tour.
Okojo Adventures ensures the safety of participants by providing trained and experienced guides. However, alpine activities involve inherent risks such as rockfall, inclement weather, and natural hazards that cannot be fully mitigated.
Participants must assess their fitness, health, and equipment suitability and adhere to their guide’s advice. Okojo Adventures is not responsible for failure to reach the summit due to personal fitness or natural hazards.
In cases of natural disasters (e.g., volcanic activity, typhoons) that impede the safety or feasibility of a tour, clients will receive a full refund of guide fees minus any incurred processing fees. Refunds do not cover accommodation or third-party rentals.
Okojo Adventures does not provide rental equipment. As such, no refunds or liability apply for third-party rentals. For rental needs, we recommend visiting yamarent.com. However, we are not responsible for bookings, returns, or issues related to damaged, lost, or stolen items.
Okojo Adventures facilitates mountain hut bookings but does not own or operate the huts. Any disputes must be resolved directly with the hut operators.
Severe weather cancellations are exempt from fees. Additional costs incurred (e.g., airfare, rentals) are not covered.
By participating in any tour offered by Okojo Adventures, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of outdoor adventure activities, including but not limited to physical injury, weather hazards, and natural disasters. Okojo Adventures and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage. Participants agree to waive any liability and hold Okojo Adventures harmless for personal injury or property damage arising from the tour.
All disputes will be resolved through out-of-court mediation under the rules of the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC). Decisions reached through mediation shall be binding on both parties.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the demands of the tour. Okojo Adventures reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed physically unfit or ill-prepared. Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions to their guide.
Okojo Adventures values your privacy. Personal information collected during booking will only be used for facilitating your tour and will not be shared with third parties, except where necessary (e.g., with local guides). For details, refer to our privacy policy.
